Her maiden name was Ethel Frances Babcock. She married Paul L. Mueller in 1908. She attended the Minneapolis School of Art's Day and Summer School in 1920-21, Day School in 1921-22, and Day School in 1922-23. She received a 3-year certificate in Painting in May 1922. Also enrolled in "special" courses in 1923.

Overview This is a humorous yearbook published by the Minneapolis School of Art's student organization, the Palettite Society. It has poems, jokes, stories, art work and photographs of the students grouped by year on the front steps of the school. "A students' year book is published annually by a staff chosen from the student body. The first issue, the "Sketch Pad," was published in May, 1922."
